In the 2024-25 season, the SeaHorses Mikawa, in their second year under coach Ryan Richman, finished with a record of 39-21, better than last season. Other than the addition of Yutaro Suda from the Nagoya Diamond Dolphins, their roster remained unchanged. Mikawa was able to build chemistry, which was also a factor in the team's increased number of wins compared to last season. However, in the playoffs, they suffered two consecutive losses to the Utsunomiya Brex, who had the best record in the B1 and ended their season with a quarterfinal loss for the second straight year.

1. Pretty consistent. Not losing three straight or more.

Despite suffering several two consecutive losses this season, Mikawa managed to avoid a three-game losing streak. They only lost two games against the same opponent over the weekend, demonstrating their ability to overcome their bad streak. However, even though they were consistently defeating teams with a winning percentage below .500, their home game record of 17 wins and 13 losses posed a significant obstacle to their advancement to the postseason from the Central Division, which is home to formidable teams. In games where their offense performed well, scoring over 85 points, Mikawa was a 20-3 record.
