He talks about the Academy, the Japan National Team experience, and his future.
Yuto Kawashima left Japan heading for the NBA Global Academy a year ago. He played in the FIBA U19 World Cup and then got an opportunity to play as a member of the Japan National Team in February. FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiy game against Guam, Kawashima made his official FIBA international game debut and scored six points to contribute to Japan's win. I watched his practice and interviewed him at the Australian Institute of Sports in Canberra.
